Ginkgo biloba (G. biloba) is an ancient medicinal tree species that has been in existence for millennia without undergoing modifications due to its resistance to environmental stresses. Rich in antioxidants and nutrients that are known to help improve memory and the general health of the brain.
1) Enhance Memory: Ginkgo biloba may improve memory and cognitive performance in patients with dementia. A 2010 study in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry found that compared to a placebo, a 240-mg daily dose of ginkgo biloba extract improved neuropsychiatric symptoms in patients with dementia.
2) Improve Concentration: Do you have a short attention span and wish you could focus better? Ginkgo leaf powder may improve your ability to concentrate. A 2005 study published in the journal Psychopharmacology examined the effect of ginkgo biloba on young, healthy participants. People that received a dose of ginkgo significantly improved performance on attention tasks compared to those in the placebo group.

The Journal of Psychiatric Research published a study in 2007 that demonstrated the effects of ginkgo biloba extract in patients with generalized anxiety disorder. Reductions in anxiety tension improved significantly for patients given ginkgo compared to the placebo group.
